What’s the story behind the grace on tap sign at the Vineyard Community Church in Chilliwack? 

Recently I had someone tell me that Chilliwack is in the Guiness World Book of Records as having the most number of churches per capita. I don’t know if this is true (I haven’t checked) but it underscores the perception that there is a whole whack of churches in our community. Nine years ago when we planted the Vineyard church here in town one of the obvious questions that people asked was “why do we need another church?” I guess there is a few ways to answer that.

Ever thought of "giving up" on the Local Church?

Do you feel the church is full of hypocrites? Have you ever heard someone say that to you? If you watch the evening news or listen to the news on the streets it sometimes really does seem that all the church contains is hypocrites. Stories of Christians saying one thing and doing another abound. In fact many in the Church feel like the last thing we need is to air our dirty laundry in public. “Hush, hush keep it down."
